Sarawak Information Systems Sdn. Bhd. 1. Software Application Developer (JAVA, PHP, JSP, J2EE, MSSQL, MYSQL)


Qualifications:
Degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Studies or equivalent with a specialization in Software Development


Job Description:

a) Responsibilities:

· To develop software applications in accordance with System Development Lifecycle.


b) Requirements:

· Preferably at least 1-3 years working experience in software development

· Proficient in JAVA, PHP, JSP, J2EE, MSSQL, MYSQL and other Web based/Internet programming languages

· Have passion in programming

· Accounting knowledge will be an added advantage

· Good command of English - both written and oral

· Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadline

· Good in time management, planning and creative problem-solving.

· Strong numerical and analytical skills

· Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply


2. Service Level Management Support Personnel


Qualifications:
SPM/STPM


Job Description:


a) Responsibilities:

· to monitor service vouchers movement/updates

· to generate preventive maintenance report

· to arrange and monitor preventive maintenance visits/servicing with customers & service providers


b) Requirements:

· At Least Form five with book-keeping knowledge

3. Application Support Personnel


Qualifications:
Diploma in Computer Science/IT/Computer Studies or equivalent


Job Description:


a) Responsibilities:

To provide implementation services such as:

· Support,

· Requirement Study,

· Application Testing,

· Manual Writing (user & manual),

· System Installation and set-up,

· Application Training,

· User Acceptance Testing,

· Hand-holding Live Run

And to provide post implementation support services such as:

· Attend to customers’ calls

· Initial assistance to users

· Troubleshooting and rectification errors


b) Requirements:

· Good command of English - both written and oral

· Preferably with IT support & maintenance and training experience

· Working experience in computing and networking e.g WAN, LAN, Server OS & hardware installation and configuration will be an added advantage

· Has own transport and willing to travel

· Able to work in team and responsible for any task assigned

· Always put customers on top priority

· Able to keep emotion under control even when under pressure

· Has good personality, positive thinking and proactive on work

4. Help Desk/Call Centre Operator


Qualifications:
Certificate/Diploma in Computer Science/IT/Computer Studies or equivalent


Job Description:


a) Responsibilities:

· To handle customer’s problems and enquiries, identify, analyse, troubleshoot and provide solutions to problem

· To record incident details and escalates calls when necessary to ensure that all service requests and enquiries are resolved and completed on time.

· To liaise with other support personnel to ensure the delivery of quality integrated service to customers.

· To handle customer complaints and feedback (collate and analyse incidents details) and report to Supervisor


b) Requirements:

· Basic ICT skills

· Strong communication skills

· Able to work shift duties in accordance with schedule

· Has the ability to respond quickly, decisively and accurately to customer enquiries

· Has a pleasant personality and strong interpersonal skills and is very keen to interact and enjoy working with people

· Able to work independently and in a team

· A sound knowledge of the structure, policies, statutory functions and responsibilities of the Sarawak State Government will be an advantage.

· Working experience in customer service or call centre will be an added advantage


5. Computer Technician


Qualifications:
Certificate/ Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Studies/Electronic Engineering/Computer Engineering or any IT related discipline


Job Description:


a) Responsibilities:

· As a frontline personnel attending to IT technical support services including troubleshooting, installation, formatting and repairing PC, Printer, Scanner, UPS, notebook etc


b) Requirements:

· At least one (1) year working experience in IT technical environment (computing and networking e.g WAN, LAN, Server OS & hardware installation and configuration)

· Basic knowledge in trouble-shooting electronics component will be an added advantage

· Hands on experience dealing with CCTV and alarm system will be an advantage

· Posses own transport and willing to travel

· Good communication skills in English/BM

· Able to work independently and

· Posses good interpersonal skill



6. Network & System Support Personnel


Qualifications:
Certificate/ Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Network/Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Studies/Electronic Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or any IT related discipline


Job Description:


a) Responsibilities:

· To provide technical support and implement services of Wide area network ( WAN ) and Local area network ( LAN )


b) Requirements:

· At least one year working experience in networking environment

· Able to perform basic troubleshooting on network issue and configuration on the network device

· Familiar with the network environment

· Posses own transport and willing to travel and be posted if require

· Good attitude and sense of responsibility



7. Transcriber


Qualifications:
SPM and above

Job Description:


a) Responsibilities:

· To transcribe verbal information into text format that can be used in automated data processing systems


b) Requirements:

· Has experience in typing.

· Able to keep emotion under control even when under pressure.

· Has good personality, positive thinking and proactive on work.

· Able to work in team and responsible for any task assigned.

· Good command of English.

· Law knowledge will be an added advantage.

· Has own transport and willing to travel.

· Pensioners are welcome to apply (ex Personal Assistant/Typist/Secretary)


8. Customer Account Management Executive


Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent


Job Description:

a) Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop and follow through business proposal & build convincing presenttaion of SAINS solutions to high level menagement

· Build and maintain strong customer relations with strategic customer account

· Recognize and up sell on business

b) Job Experience Required:

· Prefer minimum 3-5 years working experienc in promoting products/from service industry

· Familiar with IT industry is an added advantage

· Customer-centric

· Has good business sense

· Has good communication skills - both written & oral

· Good command of English - both written & oral

· Own transport and willing to travel

· Preferably with Sales and Marketing experience or academic subjects related to business or marketing


9. Assistant Network Engineer


Qualifications:
Degree in IT/Computer Science/Networking


Job Description:

a) Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· To assist project manager on LAN project implementation which include network system configuration


b) Job Experience Required:

· Local Area Network (LAN)-related to structured cabling and configuration of switches

· Own transport and willing to travel (within Malaysia and overseas)

· Willing to work overtime (on public holiday and after office hour)
